A discussion was held today evening among General Sarath Fonseka and Tamil National Alliance members, and a decision was taken was according to General office. But the Tamil National Alliance informed they did not take any decision in regard to the support given to the opposition parties’ general candidate General Sarath Fonseka.
Parliament Member P.Ariyanenthiran informed in regard to this issue, the Alliance held a meeting at the Parliament complex throughout the day and discussed, but the meeting is postponed for tomorrow for the decision.
Today’s meeting was attended by Independence Presidential candidate M.K.Sivajilingam, N.Sriskantha including 18 persons. He said the decision would be informed tomorrow. Meanwhile R.Sambanthan today had met General Sarath Foneseka, of which the Tamil National Alliance sector has confirmed.
